Red Guitar

One day, science will prove that red guitars do indeed sound better. In the meantime, you’ll just have to trust me on this. This red Squier Telecaster is a sixty dollar craigslist find. It’s got terrific tone (because it’s red, naturally) and it sounds wonderful hooked up to a $10 Peavey Rage 158 practice amp, also found on craiglist. It’s a decent setup for practicing blues and country licks and, because there are no effects, I have to rely on the volume and tone controls and my picking attack to vary the sound. Not a bad deal for seventy bucks.
